Indie Pop Rock reviews MIEN

It says

We are in 2004 at the famous SXSW festival in Austin. That's when Elephant Stone crosses the road of the Black Angels. Rishi Dhir and Alex Mass, will later be joined by John-Mark Lapham (The Earlies) and Tom Furse (The Horrors) in 2012. Yes, the project's gestation was long, but here we are, in 2018, to this dating story is born Mien who will have no choice but to be inclined towards exploration and dreamlike.

The rendering of the various works of our friends will have the quality of the group homogeneity, something not acquired at the beginning considering the nature of the company. "Mien" is an excellent album mixing domestic travel, chopped pop. We will have Odessey to train us to some form of very dancing spirit with its very direct pop rock, for the rest, the album will be particularly ambient. Often exploratory, from a rhythmic point of view, as in Black Habit, we have, with this first album, a particularly marked stylistically marked object. Do not look for anything else with this album than a transcendence disc. With dreamlike atmosphere and well installed, Mien delivers a precise music, very produced, which is aimed at an informed public.
